Patrick Hiebert
Chief Executive Officer / Chairman of the Board
A seasoned entrepreneur, Patrick previously founded and sold multiple high-tech software companies before shifting his focus to freedom-oriented community living. After spending several years sailing the ocean with his son and living fully off-grid, he developed a deep understanding of self-sufficient, resilient design. Patrick is the creator of the F.I.R.S.T. philosophy and leads the AUTRIS group of companies.
Spencer Hiebert
Chief Design Officer / Board Member
Spencer is the Co-Founder and Chief Design Officer of Veritas Villages. Growing up sailing and living on boats with his father, Spencer developed a deep passion for sustainable living and alternative energy systems. He began designing freedom-oriented communities in 2019, and since then the Veritas Villages team has designed communities ranging from off-grid tiny homes to full-sized luxury residences.
Erik Vik
Chief Operations Officer / Board Member
Erik is a professional engineer with over 24 years of experience in engineering, procurement, construction, oil and gas exploration, and economic evaluation. He previously served as VP of Engineering for a publicly listed international gas explorer. Erik leads AUTRIS operations, ensuring the detail and standard of quality required to deliver luxury homes and communities for residents.
Don Morrison
Chief Financial Officer / Board Member
Don brings nearly 40 years of business experience and financial expertise to the group. He has founded, grown, and sold companies in the hospitality sector and has extensive experience with public offerings and detailed financial reporting. A resident of a Veritas Villages community himself, Don brings both the numbers and the philosophy to the CFO role.
Mikkel Thorup
Board Member
Mikkel Thorup is one of the world's most sought-after expat consultants, helping high-net-worth private clients legally mitigate tax liabilities, obtain second residency and citizenship, and build portfolios of foreign investments including real estate and agroforestry. He is the Founder and CEO of Expat Money and a bestselling author — and an investor and resident of Veritas Villages.
Alex Voss
Chief Investment Officer & Head of Bitcoin Strategy / Board Member
Alex leads AUTRIS investment strategy and oversees the group's Bitcoin treasury approach. His expertise bridges traditional investment structures and the emerging hard-money asset landscape, ensuring the AUTRIS group's financial foundation is built on appreciating, resilient assets.
